USA KALIFORNIEN SALZSEE
[Stockbild] Salt lakes. Aerial photograph of salt lakes and deposits in the Carrizo Plain National Monument, California, USA. The lake at top left corner is part of Soda Lake. A salt lake is a lake that contains water of high salinity, due to the mineral content of the underlying geology. If the rate of evaporation of lake water by the sun is very high, salts dissolved in the water are precipitated out, producing the characteristic tracks of salt banks (white) along the rivers.
