JAPAN TEE ZEREMONIE
epa01974330 Fourth generation Japanese tea master Hisatsuna Soi Kanazawa walks through his garden after greeting a group of tea aficionados who have travelled to Kyoto to experience tea ceremony with the master at his home, called Houenan, in Kyoto, Japan, 25 November 2009. Following a formal 'kaiseki' meal the guests wait on a bench in a garden next to the tea house. After being summoned by the host the guests ritually purify themselves by washing their hands and rinsing their mouths with water from a small stone basin, before proceeding along a stone path to the tea house for a formal tea ceremony.
