Opening of the Museum Tinguel in Basle (1996)
The Museum Tinguely by architect Mario Botta was opened in Basel on 3 October 1996. It is a gift to the city and region of Basel from the then pharmaceutical company F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG. The museum permanently exhibits works by the artist Jean Tinguely and hosts exhibitions of artists and thematic exhibitions. (axa)
