epa08604971 A person gestures the V sign as Belarusian people and relatives attend a funeral ceremony for Alexander Tarakhovsky, in Minsk, Belarus, 15 August 2020. Alexander Tarakhovsky (also spelled Alexander Taraykovskiy), a 34-year-old demonstrator, was reportedly killed on 10 August during an opposition rally against the presidential election results. Long-time president Alexander Lukashenko won the elections by a landslide with 80 percent of the votes, a result questioned and protested by the oppositions. Opposition leader Tikhanovskaya fled to Lithuania after rejecting the election results she claimed was rigged. EPA/TATYANA ZENKOVICH
