Every year during the first Saturday of December, the city of Fribourg honours its patron saint, St. Nicholas, with a special celebration. Due to the current situation of Covid-19 patients spike in a fifth wave of pandemic, the famous and historic Saint Nicholas celebration will not take place this year in its usual form.
