Dezember 2013, in Biasca anlaesslich der Eroeffnung des Versuchsbetriebs der Westroehre des Gotthard-Basistunnels. Auf der rund 13 Kilometer langen Versuchsstrecke zwischen Bodio TI und Faido TI fuhr erstmals ein Zug mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 160 km/h.
