Largest meteorite fall in recorded history on June 30, 1908, over the Lower Stony Tunguska River in Siberia, Russia. The (stone) meteorite or part of a comet exploded 5-10 km above ground with the energy of 1000 Hiroshima bombs its blast knocking over 80 million trees.
