Traders on Tokyo Foreign Exchange work at the terminal as Japanese stocks surged Monday, with the market's main index rising to fresh five-year highs as exporter and technology stocks rallied on optimism about the U.S. holiday shopping season in Tokyo Nov. 28, 2005. The U.S. dollar rose to nearly 120 yen, touching its highest level against the yen in more than two years.
