AUSTRALIA RUGBY
Diomede, France's rugby World Cup Mascot, attends one of his final training sessions with the French rugby team in Ballymore, Brisbane Tuesday 14 october 2003. Reports say that the cockerel is to be sent home to his hens at a chicken farm near Brisbane, having been diagnosed a suffering from depression. The fowl was rumbled by the Fijians as being not a genuine French bird and now the strain of his double life has caught up with him. Diomede is expected to leave the French squad before France meet Japan on Saturday. EPA/NATHAN RICHTER AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND OUT
