USA SONNENENERGIE
Rows of solar reflectors at an experimental solar power station located near Albuquerque, New Mexico, undated picture. This facility consists of an array of heliostats, large mirrors mounted on moveable frames which track the sun across the sky and concentrate it's light onto a central receiver mounted on top of the tower. A pressurized fluid inside the receiver (not visible here) is heated by the concentrated sunlight until it vaporizes and can be used to drive a turbine and generate electricity.
