PALAESTINA NAHOST KONFLIKT SIEDLER
Israeli settlers put the finishing touches on a large Star of David on the side of one of four "caravans", or mobile homes, in the "outpost" settlement called Tel Haim on the fringes of the Beit El settlement in the West Bank early 10 June 2003. This small outpost is slated to be demolished by the Israeli army under the terms of the Aqaba Summit, and the settlers have reinforced the area in advance of the army moving in bulldozers. Beit El is celebrating its 25th anniversary as an established settlement and has some 5,000 residents. EPA-PHOTO/EPA/JIM HOLLANDER
