It's more common in women who have been through the menopause. This shows the ciliated variant of this tumour. Ciliated cells (pink) and non ciliated cells (purple) with microvilli are present. Adenocarcinoma is a cancer that originates in glandular tissue such as skin, glands and a variety of other tissue that lines the cavities and organs of the body.
