NEW YORK DAILY LIFE
A couple is seen posing for pictures through the glass walls that surround Jane's carrousel, a restored 1920's era carousel, originally located in Youngstown, Ohio, now permanently installed in Brooklyn Bridge Park, Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012 in New York. The carousel takes its name from Jane Walentas. Walentas and her husband David Walentas bought the carousel at auction in 1984. After successfully restoring the carousel and commissioning an enclosure, designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, it was opened to the public once again in September 2011. (AP Photo/Mary Altaffer)
