MAZEDONIEN JUGOSLAWIEN KONFLIKT KOSOVO 1999
The men of the Ibrahimi family, ethnic Albanian refugees who fled from Kosovo, and guides from villages near the Yugoslav-Macedonian border rest in a school in a small village at some 50 kilometers from Skopje on Sunday, April 25, 1999. The well-organised local ethnic Albanian population helps the refugees escape from a village in nomansland called Male Malina. Some 2,000 ethnic Albanian refugees, stuck in nomansland between Yugoslavia's Kosovo border and Macedonia, are trying to cross over into Macedonia. (KEYSTONE/AP Photo/Peter Dejong)
