Anti-arrhythmia tablets. Tambocor tablets, an anti-arrhythmia drug. Tambocor is used to treat arrhythmia (irregular heartbeats). Tambocor is a trade name for flecainide acetate, which works by decreasing the sensitivity of heart muscle to electrical impulses. This slows and regulates the impulses in the heart muscle, which restores a regular heartbeat. Side effects associated with flecainide acetate include dizziness, nausea and hallucinations.
