WORMHOLE MOUTHS
"Mouths of a wormhole, conceptual computer illustration. A wormhole is a hypothetical tunnel through space. It could provide a route between two distant points that bypassed the space between them. Solutions of the equations of general relativity exist that would allow wormholes; however, a stable wormhole would need matter with exotic properties (negative energy density) and it is not known if this could actually exist. It is thought that at the very small scales of quantum physics, wormholes may not only be possible but could even constantly be forming and being destroyed."
