Maiduguri, Nigeria - 23.03.2016: Gbenga was kidnapped together [with his cousin Mohammed for 8 months by Boko Haram from his home village of Kirenowa, just across the cameroonian border in north-eastern Nigeria. He was forced to watch mass-beheadings, was taught quranic classes and had to work inside the Book Haram camp]..|| Just before his cousin was sent off to his first mission, they were able to flee into the bush and finally found the nigerian army, which, after interrogating them for one week, set them free. Gbenga now lives with his brother in Maiduguri, but his parents are still missing and the situation in Kirenowa remains unstable, making a return back home impossible. (KEYSTONE/LAIF/Andy Spyra)
