REFUGEES IN JORDAN 1953
Of the 1,200,000 population of Jordan, some 400,000 are displaced Palestinians, refugees from the recent Palestine war. A large number of these are housed at U.N and private camps in the area of Amman, the capital city..Each refugee receives a 1,500 calorie ration, supplemented by a milk ration, each day.
