"Eschscholzia californica" hat Varietäten verschiedener Farbe; als Goldmohn ist sie die Staatsblume des Golden State, Kaliforniens. Die schöne Blume ist mehr als nur Nahrung für die Seele. Eschscholzia californica has different coloured varieties: as a golden poppy it is the state flower of the Golden State of California. The pretty flower is more than just nourishment for the soul. It is also eaten - among other things, in the deceptive hope that, as a drug, it might alter consciousness and perception.
