Indian protestors demand that Congress Party head Sonia Gandhi be barred from becoming the country's next prime minister during a demonstration in the southern Indian city of Bangalore, on Monday May 17, 2004. The protestors based their demand on the fact that Gandhi is not a native Indian. Italian-born Gandhi is scheduled to meet Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam on Tuesday to stake claim to forming the next government. She is to be sworn in Wednesday. EPA/STR
