In response to the rapid globalisation and a sudden expansion of overseas production, Toyota, the second biggest automobile maker in the world, established the GPC (Global Production Center) facility in order to train group leaders and managers from its worlwide production plants. The GPC system serves as a hub for production skills to deliver the best methods on a global scale and increases the instruction efiiciency by cutting training time in half.
