Alain Rossier, CEO of Swiss air control office Skyguide apologises to the relatives of the 71 people killed in the plane crash of Ueberlingen during the press conference at Zuerich, Switzerland, Wednesday, May 19, 2004. Today the German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accidents Investigation (BFU) in Braunschweig, Germany, presented it's final report on the accident. In the night from 1 July to 2 July 2002 a Russian Tupolev of the Bashkirian Airlines collided with a Boeing cargo plane in midair, killing all 71 passengers. The cause for the disaster was believed to be the descent of both planes, who both lowered their flight to avoid collision. (KEYSTONE/Walter Bieri)
