JORDANIEN JABER-NASSIB CROSSING
Cars, trucks and busses create a long qeue in front of the Jaber-Nasib border checkpoint. Since October 2018 people are passing between Syria and Jordan again, despite high risks. The vital checkpoint used to be open twentyfour hours until 2015 and is now run only for a few hours a day. It is to be considered a major economic and social channel for Syrians, Jordanians and other Gulf country citizens. (KEYSTONE/Thilo Remini)
