The electronic text for an eBook may be bought from online bookstores, or text, graphics or sounds downloaded from a personal computer or the Internet. Text can then be manipulated using a stylus on the eBook's touch-sensitive screen. The font may be altered, sections bookmarked, notes made in the margin, words searched for, or text underlined or reorientated.
