Reformation: Single scenes at the Zwingli door at the Grossmünster Church
Detail views of the bronze Zwingli door at the southern portal of the Grossmuenster church in Zurich, Switzerland. Except of the four fields in the corners, the reliefs on the bronze door show motifs of the Zurich Reformation history. The door was crafted by Otto Muench (1885-1965) and placed at the southern portal of the Grossmuenster in 1939. 24 square relief scenes, 6 rows at 4 scenes, decorate the bronze door. The motifs are to be read from bottom left to top right.
