HAN09 - 20001117 - HANOVER, GERMANY : (FILES) Picture of 17 November 2001 of French-born artist Niki de Saint Phalle posing in front her sculpture `Skull, Meditation Room` on display at the Sprengel museum in Hanover. Niki de Saint Phalle died in a hospital in San Diego at the age of 71 from pulmonary disease following a long period of illness, officials announced 22 May 2002 in Hanover, Germany, where many of her works were on display.
