US champion Jesse Owens (born James Cleveland) is airborne during the long jump event, that he won, on August 9, 1936, during the Olympic Summer Games in Berlin. Owens captured a total 4 gold medals in Berlin, in 100m, 200m, 4x100m and long jump. Grandson of a slave and legendary athlet, Jesse Owens established 6 world records in 1935.
