Turkey, Diyarbakir, June 2007 Ikram Narin, 35, left, poses with her mother at their home. Ikram now manages a café in Diyarbakir. When her father found out that she had gone to the mountains to join the PKK, he sent a message to the fighters: he wanted her back and was ready to exchange her 4 brothers for her return. She explains that he was eventually murdered by Turkish military after they suspected he was cooperating with the PKK. She was captured after 4 years in the mountains and imprisoned for ten years. Quand son père a découvert qu'elle était partie dans les montagnes pour rejoindre le PKK, elle a envoyé un message aux combattants : il voulait la récupérer et était prêt à l'échanger contre ses 4 fils. Elle explique qu'il a finalement été assassiné par l'armée Turque qui le soupçonnait de coopérer avec le PKK. Elle a été capturée après avoir passé 4 ans dans les montagnes, et a été emprisonnée pendant 10 ans.
