Filmed in the middle of winter in a picturesque English village in Hampshire, the film was made using a camera filming from a hot air balloon. First part shows the couple's head and shoulders. Second part shows camera drawing upwards away from land into an aerial view and complete silence. Final section sees the balloon ascend into the clouds, screen remains white until balloon re-emerges, and climaxing with winter sun and blue sky. The word Apotheosis means 'release from earthly life'. This movie was first screened at the 7-3/4 New York Film Festival in 1970. (KEYSTONE/CAMERA PRESS/Dixie Dean) === , SPECIAL FEES ===
