SYRIA ART EARTHQUAKE AFTERMATH
epa10490985 Syrian artists Salam Hamed (L) and Bushra Hamed (R) paint a remainder of a wall of a collapsed building in Al-Milan village of Idlib city in Syria, 25 February 2023. The artists are painting ruins of destroyed buildings in the earthquake zone in northern Syria following the earthquake on 06 February 2023. The paintings are meant to draw attention to the suffering of displaced people in the region and the failure of the international community to send more help, according to the artists. More than 46,000 people died and thousands more were injured after major earthquakes struck southern Turkey and northern Syria on 06 February and again on 20 February. EPA/YAHYA NEMAH
