PAP101-19980412-CARRICKMORE: The hands of schoolchildren are thrust forward to shake that of Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams after his speech in front of the "Memory of Tyrone's Republican Dead" at Carrickmore, 12 April. Leader's of IRA's political wing began the task of selling the new Northern Ireland peace deal to staunch republicans at commemorations today of the bloody 1916 Easter Rising against British rule.
