Andrew Lloyd Webber, at his home at Sydmonton Court, Berkshire, England, in this undated handout photo, stands by his Broadwood piano. Behind him hang two portraits by Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Dinner guests at his renowned parties are already familiar with Lord Lloyd-Webber's astonishing art collection but, Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, he opened it up to a wider audience. The composer staged a different type of West End transfer as the lavish artworks which normally illuminate his country home were temporarily moved to central London. Around 300 works, including an important Picasso, will go on display to the public Wednesday at the Royal Academy of Arts for three months as the Andrew Lloyd Webber Collection opens. Lord Lloyd-Webber, 58, has amassed the artworks since he was a teenager after falling in love with Victorian and Pre-Raphaelite art.
