epa10159576 People affected by floods move on to higher grounds on the outskirts of Quetta, Balochistan province, Pakistan 04 September 2022. According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on 03 September, at least 57 people were killed in flood-related incidents over the past 24 hours in Pakistan, bringing to 1,265 the number of victims who died across Pakistan since the beginning of the heavy monsoon rains season in mid-June 2022.
