INDIA COLLISION PLANE
A fireman sprays water Wednesday November 13, 1996, over the smouldering debris of the Saudi jumbo jet which collided in mid-air with a Kazak airliner cargo plane killing some 351 people Tuesday Nov. 12, 1996, near the town of Charkhi Dadri, about 60 miles (100 Km) west of New Delhi. The Saudi jetliner was climbing after take-off from New Delhi airport when it collided with the Kazak plane coming in for landing. The wreckage if strewn across six miles of wheat and mustard fields.
