GROSSBRITANNIEN KUNST LUCIAN FREUD
Telephone bidders sit under a Lucian Freud portrait of a pregnant and naked Kate Moss during the auction at Christie's, London, Wednesday February 09, 2005. The painting sold at a hammer price of £3.5 million (5 million Euro), making it just under £4 million (5.8 million Euro) including commission. Naked Portrait 2002 forms part of Christie's Post-War and Contemporary Art sale. With the exception of the Queen, the model is probably the most famous figure to be painted by Freud, widely regarded as Britain's greatest living artist. EPA/KIRSTY WIGGLESWORTH UK AND IRELAND OUT
