It looks like as if three men walking behind are seen through the body of graduate student Kazutoshi Obana during a demonstration of optical camouflage technology at Tokyo University, conducted by Faculty of Engineering Prof. Susumu Tachi, in Tokyo in this Feb. 5, 2003 file photo. The disappearing coat is part space-age material, part camera trick. A video camera behind the coat sends footage to a projector, which bounces the image off the front of coat's reflective surface much like a movie screen works. Viewed through a lens of the project, the coat - even when wrinkled - appears see-though. when demonstration conducted by Faculty of Engineering Prof. Susumu Tachi is an early stage of his research that will eventually enable camouflaged objects virtually transparent by wearing an optical device. This photo was taken through the special viewfinder. (AP Photo/Shizuo Kambayashi, File)
