Lunar landscape: view looking toward the low rim of the Fra Mauro crater on the Moon. At centre right is the Apollo 14 Lunar Module. Astronaut Shepard may be seen just right of centre. Apollo 14 arrived on the Moon on 5 February 1971. Astronauts Alan Shepard and Edgar Mitchell were on the Moon for 33 hours 31 minutes, performing two excursions on the surface totalling 9 hours 23 minutes.
