Vauxhall Bus Station. London. UK. April 12, 2020.Petrine Forde .“For me on the whole its been frightening because I have children, so going home and knowing that I have to literally isolate myself -wash my hands, make sure my footwear, clothing is away from other clothes and I rotate my uniform, washing them every other day to make sure I dont carry any germs into the house. Having unsociable people come on the bus who come close to the glass, and dont keep their distance, is more frightening especially if they show symptoms of coughing , and are not so hygienic. Aprt from that I'm happy. I wear a mask, when I am not in fresh air circulation, I actually wear goggles as well because I dont want it to enter through my eyes or my ears or droplets into my mouth. So I do my best , I wash my hands every hour and I sanitise with the NHS' s help- thank you for the hand gel that you gave us, the hand sanitiser, very gratefully received. My moral is we all have a destiny, so if youre going to get the Covid 19 virus youre just going to get it, theres no way of stopping it, but you can always do your best to prevent it from happening. Thats it really.”..General Intro Text:.There were 2.2 billion journeys on London's buses in the year to March 2019, far more than the 1.37 billion in the same period on the London Underground.
