epa07781877 A wolf-man sculpture of German artist Rainer Opolka nearby the regional Brandenburg headquarters of the right-wing Alternative fuer Deutschland (AfD) party in Potsdam, Germany, 20 August 2019. German artist Rainer Opolka and German publicist and chairwoman of the Foundation for a Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe Lea Rosh set up a wolf-man sculpture, stretching one of its paws to show the Hitler salute, in front of the regional state of Brandenburg branch of the right-wing Alternative fuer Deutschland (AfD) party. Prior to the Brandenburg elections, where the AfD could become the leading force, Opolka and Rosh wanted to warn of the potential electoral success. The two dropped a signed open letter into the mailbox of the party's headquarters, with eight urgent questions regarding statements of leading AfD personnel. EPA/CLEMENS BILAN
