epa02614315 An Iraqi protester gives an Iraqi flag as a gift to Iraqi riot police blocking the streets in the Baghdad, Iraq, 04 March 2011, ahead of planned protests to demand economic reforms, jobs and an end to corruption. According to media sources, hundreds of protesters gathered across Iraq, despite tight security measures and a driving ban imposed on Baghdad and five other cities from midnight. Hundreds of army and policemen were deployed on the roofs of high buildings, as forces closed the entrances to the Green Zone, where many embassies and ministries are based, and several bridges over the river Tigris were blocked.
