In this photo provided by the U.S. Navy, bombing strike against the Tram Bac Oil storage area is shown, July 7, 1967, about 6 miles west of Haiphong in North Vietnam. Navy planes form the carrier USS Bon Homme Richard hit the site with 500-pounds bombs. Bombs flash, smoke rises and debris falls into the river. The site was destroyed in the attack.
