GROSSBRITANNIEN KATE MOSS
Kate Moss, the waifish supermodel whose slight frame heralded a new wave of skinny, pale models when she rose to fame in the early 1990's. Hailing from Croydon, near London, she has won notoriety for her nude /topless work for Calvin Klein, and has been accused of encouraging anorexia and smoking in young girls, all of which she rightly regards as ridiculous. 1955 saw the publication of 'Kate', a glossy book of portraits of Ms. Moss taken by the world's top photographers, including Steven Meisel, Herb Ritts and Richard Avedon.
