The Bee Gees, famed for such hits at 'Stayin' Alive', 'Tragedy' and many other classics, also provided the soundtrack to the films 'Saturday Night Fever' and followup 'Staying Alive'. They have had incredible chart success since the 1960's and are one of popular music's most successful acts of all time. Maurice Gibb (right), who was announced dead aged 53 on Sunday 12th of January 2003 after suffering a heart attack and having an operation on a 'blocked intestine' at a Miami hospital.
