SCHWEIZ EROEFFNUNGSFEIER ''GOTTARDO 2016''
Internationale Boden- und Luftakrobaten proben anlaesslich dem Medienanlass zur Eroeffnungs des Gotthard-Basistunnels auf dem Installationsplatz Rynaecht in Erstfeld, am Dienstag, 10. Mai 2016. Anfang Juni 2016 wird der laengste Eisenbahntunnel der Welt feierlich eroeffnet. Die letzten Vorbereitungen fuer die Eroeffnung des Gotthard-Basistunnels und die Feierlichkeiten unter dem Titel "Gottardo 2016" sind im Gang. An der heutigen Medienorientierung gaben Regisseur Volker Hesse und sein Ensemble eine Kostprobe der kuenstlerischen Inszenierung, die fuer die Eroeffnungsfeierlichkeiten vorgesehen ist. Insgesamt werden rund 600 Darstellerinnen und Darsteller mitspielen. Die Inszenierung findet auf beiden Seiten des Gotthard-Basistunnels statt und soll "den Mythos Gotthard mit seinen urtuemlichen Elementen mit dem hochmodernen Rekord-Tunnel, der Norden und Sueden naeher zusammenbringt" verbinden, wie das Bundesamt fuer Verkehr in einer Mitteilung schreibt. At the beginning of June, 2016, the world's longest railway tunnel will be ceremonially opened. The final preparations for the opening of the Gotthard Base Tunnel and for the festivities under the title of "Gottardo 2016" are in progress. At today's media orientation, Artistic Director Volker Hesse and his ensemble gave a foretaste of the artistic dramatisation that is planned for the opening festivities. A total of around 600 artists will perform. The dramatisation will take place at both ends of the Gotthard Base Tunnel and should "combine ancient elements of the Gotthard legend with the state-of-the-art record-breaking tunnel that brings the north and the south closer together", as the organisers write in a statement.
