SCHWEIZ HOLCIM ZEMENTWERK UNTERVAZ
The factory site of the construction materials enterprise situated in Untervaz, Switzerland, pictured on May 15, 2012. On view is the industrial furnace which can heat virgin materials up to 1600 degree centigrade. The roots of Holcim International go back to a single cement plant commissioned in Switzerland in 1912. The enterprise then grew to a worldwide construction materials group, employing some 80,000 people in around 70 countries. (KEYSTONE/ Gaetan Bally)
