LUNAR METEORITE SLICE
Lunar meteorite slice. This is a sample from lunar meteorite Northwest Africa 482. This meteorite is very rich in the feldspar mineral anorthite, which gives it its pale colour. The original meteorite weighed around one kilogram and was purchased in Morocco in 2001, with the original location thought to have been in Algeria.
