MailChimp offers options for the statistical analysis of usage data. These include, among others, confirmation that an e-mail has reached the recipient or was rejected by the server, and information on the links that were clicked. To this end, MailChimp uses what is known as a tracking pixel that is activated by the MailChimp server when the newsletter is opened. To enable the technical improvement of the service, technical information (e.g. IP address, browser type and version, time and date of the request) is collected. Users who do not wish their data to be processed by MailChimp should not subscribe to the newsletter.

We use Google Maps to display maps. This is subject to the condition that Google can recognise the user’s IP address. The IP address is needed in order to send the contents to the user’s browser.
