SCHWEIZ GREYERZERSEE ENTLEERUNG
People walking on the dried out shore of the Lake of Gruyere in Pont-la-Ville near Bulle, Switzerland, Friday, April 17, 2020. The level of the artificial impounding reservoir is progressively being brought down by 15 to 20m, planning for the upcoming melting of heavy snowfalls accumulated on the surrounding mountains. The access to Ogoz Island (ile d' Ogoz) which is in the middle of the lake and normally accessible by foot when the water is at low level is forbidden and the access to the shores of the lake is restricted due to the state of emergency of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.
