French driver Luc Alphand at the finish of the 2006 Dakar Rally at Lac Rose, Senegal, Sunday 15 January 2006. The Volkswagen Touareg’s driver won the rally in the car category after finishing the final leg of the race in Senegal, untimed to honor two boys killed during the race.
