Wild bees of the ETH spin-off company "Wildbiene und Partner" fly around in a cherry tree plantation in Berneck, Eastern Switzerland, April 17, 2014. Wrapped under hail protection nets, the cherry trees are pollinated by wild bees. wild bees are used for pollinating the trees as they begin flying around earlier in the year at lower temperatures and they work harder than classic bees. The beehives are placed in the middle of the plantation and the bees set off to work from there. (KEYSTONE/Gaetan Bally)
